A Hidden Place
My Cyber Friend
To my best friend Bets,
When life around you gets
you down
"We are all travellers
Friendship
I'd like to be the sort
of friend
There are not many things
in life so beautiful as true friendship,
Friends are Angels
A friend walks in when
A Dozen
Roses
Return To
Friends
tomorrow brings the end
but somewhere in the middle
we've become the best of friends.
--
Each of us has a hidden place
Somewhere deep within ourselves;
a place where we go to get away,
To think things through, to be alone, to be
ourselves.
This unique place, where we confront
our deepest feelings,
Becomes a storehouse of all our hopes,
all our needs,
all our dreams,
And even our unspoken fears.
It encompasses the essence of who we
are and what we want to be.
But now and then, whether by chance or design,
Someone discovers a way into that place
we thought was ours alone.
And we allow that person to see, to feel
and to share all the reason,
all the uncertainty and all the emotion
we've stored up there.
That person adds new perspective
to our hidden realm,
Then quietly settles down in his own
corner of our special place,
Where a bit of himself will stay forever.
And we call that person
a friend..
I haven't ever seen you,
But I know you are really there;
I click you into reality
Like magic from the air.
Your voice is like an angel,
Though I really do not hear;
Your hug as warm as any
Of loved ones I hold dear.
You are always there for comfort,
Or a word of cheer;
Though you are very far away,
I always have you near.
You are a very special friend,
Like none I've ever known;
As long as you are in cyberspace
I will never be alone.

and you hold nothing on your face but a frown.
Think about the times we have shared
Knowing that someone cares.
in the wilderness of this world,
and the best we can find in our travels
is an honest friend."
- Robert Louis Stevenson
If there is one ingredient
which adds warmth and love
to our lives...
it is Friendship.
If there is one relationship to
help us through all the others...
it is Friendship.
Friends surround us with
the beauty of their caring.
With friends we can share
what we see, what we feel
and what we love.
Friends help us with our problems
because they listen.
And as they listen
we begin to hear the language of
our own hearts.
With friends we can
walk along the remembered
paths of our lives and
completely share our experiences.
With friends we can work
the soil of forgotten dreams
that needed to be tended and
nurtured once again.
With friends we can
plant the seed
of our hearts
new dreams.
We can always return to a friend
like going back to a special place...
and find the same warm feeling
unchanged by time or distance.
Life gives us friends
so we can share the precious times
and memorable moments of
being children, and teenagers,
and adults, and parents,
and grandparents.
Life gives us friends
so we can share
the growing up...
and growing down
and old.
With friends we have a place to go
to be accepted and understood.
Together we can laugh.
Together we can cry.
Our thoughts are heard,
our feelings are held
in the heart of a friend.
With friends our lives are made
more full, more rich, more open,
beautiful and blessed !
That you have been to me,
I'd like to be the help that
You've been always glad to be;
I'd like to mean as much to you
Each minute of the day,
As you have meant, old friend of mine,
To me along the way.

We have been friends together in sunshine and
in shade.

Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet
again. And meeting again after a moment or lifetime is certain for those
who are friends.

Who lift us to our feet
When our own wings
have trouble
Remembering how to Fly..

I got a dozen roses
From a friend the other day;
But I only have 1 left,
For I gave them all away.
I gave one to my sister,
Who to me is very dear,
In hopes that it will bring to her
A little floral cheer.
I took one to a friend
Who's not feeling very well:
The flower or the visit--
Which helped more I could not tell.
One went to a friend
I haven't known for very long
She struggles, so in some small way,
I hope this helps her carry on.
The rest went to the ones
Who've helped me in so many ways;
They have been a cheerful presence
On my dreary days.
The Roses were so pretty
I just could not keep them all
Except one single bud standing
Beautiful and tall.
My friend gave me the flowers
To help brighten up my day,
But the biggest joy I received,
Was giving them away.
