Sea Steps

The sea is like the road we walk,
it's a place we can go when we need to talk.
The Masters' there with a listening ear,
when we think he's far, he is so near..

As the waves go out, and they come in,
we say Lord, we don't know where to begin.
Master of this sea, with your mighty hand,
would you heal my hurt, as I humbly stand..

Lord, you own the mountains and the sea so blue,
when we're in the valley, we know you'll come through.
The storms may rage, and the clouds are above,
But Jesus will comfort us with his love..

So when you're in trouble, and your life is tossed,
Look to the lighthouse and you won't be lost.
The waters may be rough, and the waves so high,
But there is help, if you'll look to the sky..

Jesus the comforter and our refuge in prayer.
Don't ever doubt him, our counselor will always be there.
He will never forsake us, nor leave you and me .
The Lord will walk with us, as he promised, you see.

Lean to the Master as he walks on the sea,
Let him guide you in your steps, as they are so free.
Though life is rough, and the rocks, they may hurt,
He promised if we endure, the last will become first

Remember the sea steps as we all walk along,
take hold to the rocks, and you won't go wrong.
The steps we must take to get where we must go,
The route we choose, the direction, the Master will show..

He shed his blood for you and for me.
So take your steps careful, and let us not fall,
The kingdom is close, so let's stand up tall.

Even if the waves come high, and the trials seem to abound,
We know where our rescue is, our master can always be found.
He's the Master of everything, including the sea,
So watch your step child, so with Jesus you'll be!!
